U4GM - 5 Fallout 76 Items That Boost Your Daily Ops Speedruns
Daily Ops in Fallout 76 are one of my favorite repeatable endgame activities. Whether you're grinding for rare rewards or just trying to complete your weekly scoreboard challenges, speed is everything. I’ve spent countless hours optimizing my build and inventory to shave precious seconds off my runs. Through trial, error, and some hard-earned experience, I’ve learned which fallout 76 items can make or break a Daily Ops speedrun. Here are five essentials that consistently help me hit the Elder Rank with ease.
1. Bloodied Weapons with Faster Fire Rate
If you want to clear Daily Ops enemies fast, you need high DPS. Bloodied weapons—especially with faster fire rate and 25% less VATS cost—are a godsend for any serious speedrunner. I use a Bloodied Fixer with +25% fire rate, and the damage output is unmatched when paired with the right perks. The stealth bonus helps too, especially in enemies-with-stealth mutation scenarios. When I first switched to a Bloodied setup, my average completion time dropped by nearly two minutes.
2. Unyielding Armor with AP Boosts
Daily Ops demand mobility, and nothing supports that better than a full set of Unyielding armor with AP refresh effects. I run my character at low health, so I benefit from the added SPECIAL stats and can spam VATS for quick target acquisition. Sprinting between objectives without losing momentum is critical. Before I upgraded my armor, I’d frequently run out of AP mid-fight—those delays add up.
3. Speed Demon Mutation
Okay, it’s not technically gear, but the Speed Demon mutation is a must-have for speedruns. The bonus movement and reload speed keep you flying through maps. I combine this with the Marsupial mutation to hop over obstacles and cut corners that would slow others down. Just be sure to stock up on RadShield or keep a stash of cheap Fallout 76 Items like Mutation Serums if you ever lose it. They’ve saved me from wasting time farming mutations all over again.
4. Psycho Buff and Overdrive
Chems are underrated in Daily Ops. I personally use Psycho Buff and Overdrive before every run. The added damage and crit bonuses help me delete enemies before they can even react. For particularly tough bosses, I’ll throw in Fury for a little extra edge. One time, I forgot my chems and my kill time on the final boss increased by nearly 30 seconds. It’s a small prep step that pays off massively.
5. Stealth Boy (Perk or Item-Based)
Some Daily Ops mutations include cloaked enemies or melee-ambush types. Having Stealth on your side makes navigating the map and picking your engagements much safer. I usually rely on the Covert Operative perk and a Stealth Boy for tight situations, especially in solo runs. In one memorable run, I was pinned between two groups of enemies—popping a Stealth Boy let me slip past unnoticed and finish the objective.
Speedrunning Daily Ops in Fallout 76 is equal parts preparation and execution. These fallout 76 items aren’t just helpful—they’re essential if you're aiming for the fastest clears possible. Through trial and practice, I’ve learned how to gear up smartly and maximize every second. And when I need to restock or experiment with new builds, I often turn to cheap Fallout 76 Items to keep things efficient without draining my resources. In speedruns, every advantage counts—and these items deliver.
